Main applications of PVC resin

1. PVC general soft products.

It can be extruded into hoses, cables, wires, etc. by using extrusion machine; by using injection molding machine with various molds, it can be made into plastic sandals, soles, slippers, toys, auto parts, etc.

2.PVC film.

PVC is mixed with additives, plasticized and made into transparent or colored film of specified thickness by using three-roller or four-roller calender, and the film is processed by this method and becomes calendered film. It can also be cut and heat laminated to process bags, raincoats, tablecloths, curtains, inflatable toys, etc. Wide transparent films can be used for greenhouses, plastic sheds and mulch. The film stretched in both directions and subjected to heat shrinkage can be used for shrink packaging.

3. PVC coated products.

Artificial leather with backing is made by coating PVC paste on cloth or paper, and then plasticizing it above 100 degrees Celsius. It can also be made by calendering PVC and auxiliaries into a film first, and then pressed together with the backing. The artificial leather without backing is directly calendered by calender into soft sheet of certain thickness and then pressed with pattern. Artificial leather can be used to make leather case, leather bag, book cover, sofa and car cushion, etc. There is also floor leather, which is used as flooring material of building.

4.PVC foam products.

Soft PVC mixing, adding the right amount of blowing agent made of sheet, foam molding for foam, can be used as foam slippers, sandals, insoles, and shockproof cushioning packaging materials. It can also be extruded into low-foaming hard PVC sheets and profiles, which can replace wood and is a new type of building material.

5. PVC transparent sheet.

PVC with impact modifier and organic tin stabilizer, mixed, plasticized, calendered and become transparent sheet. Using thermoforming can be made into thin-walled transparent containers or used for vacuum blister packaging, is an excellent packaging material and decorative materials.

6. PVC rigid sheet and plate.

PVC is added with stabilizer, lubricant and filler, and after mixing, it can be extruded into various caliber hard pipes, shaped pipes and corrugated pipes with extruder, and used as downpipe, drinking water pipe, electric wire casing or staircase handrail. The calendered sheets are overlapped and hot pressed to make rigid sheets of various thicknesses. The sheets can be cut into desired shapes and then welded with hot air using PVC welding rods to form various chemical resistant storage tanks, ducts and containers, etc.
